Normally, this would be a case of "if you've seen the movie, you've read the comic"- type of adaptation, but this run offers a bit more. The panels take you deeper into the scenes and mindsets of the characters as well as a shot or scene not shown in the theatrical version.

While on the planet Pasaana, Finn, Rey, Poe and the team can't catch a break as the First Order launches a surprise attack! Rey and Kylo Ren's confrontation explodes when they finally come face-to-face..or saber-to-TIE-wing, while Chewbacca is captured! With nowhere else to turn, Poe Dameron seeks out a mysterious figure from his past for help. This issue takes us to Kijimi and into Ren's Star Destroyer as the (other)  "Star Bros" Finn and Poe blast their way through the ship to rescue Chewie while Rey confronts Ren!

Deleted Scene Revealed!

For the first time ever, witness a deleted scene from the movie between Maz Kanata and Leia Organa. This insightful conversation offers a deeper look into the Resistance's struggles and the weight of their responsibilities. It's a quick, touching scene that, would have been a great fit for the film. But, due to the unfortunate passing of our Forever Princess, we'll never get to see it realized on the screen. But, having it laid out in panels is an beautiful and fitting addition.
